Matthew 17:10-13
It was deafening to hear Elijah's silence. I compared him to those buried underground, those who take to their graves those things that never responded. It is torture for the sane to learn the secrets of the corrupt.
My constant visits to his cell were nothing more than a source of pleasure for him; he enjoyed seeing me attempt to answer all those questions he already had a thousand and one interpretations to due to his play on words. In addition, he was a fan of verbal codes and I was new to the criminal investigations department. He would never give me a pawn to appease the bitterness of his chess game, which seemed to pigeonhole my king.
—I don't doubt about your ability, Elijah. —I whispered as I got up from my chair.— While I appreciate your ingenuity, we must move forward.
—Forward...
My last word tasted sweet to Elijah like candy to a child, but in his imagination it evoked more than jovial sweetness. Countless times, his palate flicked. The only thing I could do was look at himself, trying to figure out how to convince him. With his sharp voice, he cut through my thoughts before I even had time to breathe.
—Their progress is nothing more than a quest for success, and all you do is abide by the rules. Isn't it a waste of your time, Dr. Fanny? You haven't heard back from me, and we are getting close. I think you enjoy my company more than your police duties.
I recall his smile and his tongue motion as he licked his lips. It did nothing more than make my back arch. Having me in front of him every day made him ecstatic, enjoying my smell, my company, everything he could do to me in his imagination across the cell. My fear wanted to consume me like a little girl hiding under the bed, expecting to be enlightened that monsters only exist in dreams, but reality is more sinister when you can feel it breathing next to you.
—Let's play your way, Elijah.
The lewd gesture of Elijah was paused. Although he is always in control of situations, he wasn't there to question how much I belong to the judicial process. My mission was clear and precise, and if that require me to skip the conduct of codes, I would do so without hesitation. With people like him, you must manage yourself to gain their trust. The way he took control again, however, was very peculiar; I had to go ahead and attack him with his lower instincts, his desires. While it might not give me what I want, I had to give him what he wanted most.
—Let's make a deal, a concord, use the word that best satisfies you. —he was silent, listening carefully and I was surprised by his behavior. It seems that if something interests him is when he sustains the sigh— I propose to bring you a body and...
—Warm body. —he interrupted forcefully—
—Warm body, still alive, and you will give me the cleric's answers. What do you think?
His tongue sailed over and over his lips as he replied to his lascivious gesture. In the acceptance of the treatment, he never took his eyes off of me. Despite the subsequent corporeal desecration that did not fazed me, I cannot forget his eyes, his face, and his starving words.
—The most holy body and blood of Christ.

Mateo 17:10-13
—Juguemos a tu manera Elías.
